Piano Key Clock

After my piano renovation project, I had a full set of piano keys and some other internals from the old piano. This is the concept I came up with.

Random Fact: Piano keys, being made of ivory, are restricted. You are not allowed to dispose of them at a landfill. And there are rules restricting selling ivory products or transporting them across state borders.

I never made the clock – too many other projects. Artist Bronwyn Calcutt had a use for the piano keys and innards for a sculpture project, so I gave them to her.
